The New iBooger is Here!

` With iBooger, you can talk on the phone, listen to music, watch movies, or access the internet, all from the comfort of your own eyeball!

` The iBooger's sleek design is barely noticeable on the surface of your eyeball. Pressing the shiny spot activates it. Then, the fun begins!
` Controlling it with only your motor cortex, you can actually view the internet as it's being projected onto your retinas and listen to music that's fed directly into your middle ear! Or, you can upload thousands of movies. Your head is your own personal theater!
` The best part about iBooger is that there's no installation required! Just snort the packet of nanobots and it installs itself!

` Price: Being my victi- uh... test subject!

Finally, nanobots are finding their way into the homes of the average American!

Its my understanding that the screen saver is really trippy, and dreams are really funky when you inadvertently activate it while sleeping, too.

` At the very least, I am hoping that it discourages drug use in teens....

This has a non-breaking space in front of it.

` Hi, Dan! Nice to see you visiting the lab....

` Oh, yes, Charles, I've been working on that for my blog posts, but I can only seem to get one to work. Let's try it out here:

  This should have two nbsps!

Hmmm...... viewing the internet and movies with a thought? Potential malfunctions that would screw up my very perception of reality and land me in a mental institution?

Where do I sign up?

"At the very least, I am hoping that it discourages drug use in teens...." ----- ummmm Spooney I believe the drugs that you were taking as a teen have affected your brain now. Hehehehe ;-)

I've seen a similar idea expressed about the future generation of PSP's.
Of course they didn't include the pic with the gold eye implant, which is another, albeit very real current phenomenon (can you say, "Bling?".)
That and they didn't use the iBooger moniker.

'Tsup, Dan?

Another technical problem would be, competition. Once nanobots are in someone's system, how does it work, if some other system is desired? What about the problem of obsolescence? Then, there's the potential problems with attachment of bacteria or virii or even just certain proteins, could they cause problems? There's plenty to be worked out, even after the engineering of the desired functionality.

Charles, I'm sure those bugs can be worked out. The only thing required is something that can provide constant stimulation to the brain's pleasure center. This would cause people to lose weight, quit smoking and adopt healthy lifestyles! Plus we can be constantly entertained!

I'm not laughing! This COULD happen!
