I know these things are dumb...

` ...But I've been too lazy to put any brain efforts into this blog as of late. (Check out my art blog, though, as I've been updating that!) Anyway, I came across another personality test thingy. Why this was the second one I put up here, search me. (No really, please do if you're an attractive man.)
` Here's part of my results - they look suspiciously like the first one I did, long ago (this post).

` Ha! Apparently, I'm more masculine than feminine! That's so cool for some reason. Oh, must be because I like men. And then there's this part of the test....

# (Yes, there's actually stuff to be said about me!)

Your imagination, self-reliance, openness to new things, and appreciation for utility combine to make you an INVENTOR.

# (Believe it or not, I'm capable of such things sometimes!)

You have the confidence to make your visions into reality, and you are willing to consider many alternatives to get that done.

# (Indeed - though my methods of following through are kind of inefficient.)

The full spectrum of possibilities in the world intrigues you—you're not limited by pre-conceived notions of how things should be.

# (I think the world ought to be constructed by the sneezes of Transdimensional Rutharnids that got trapped in a bubble of spacetime.)

Problem-solving is a specialty of yours, owing to your persistence, curiosity, and understanding of how things work.

# (And I'm getting better at it every day!)

Your vision allows you to identify what's missing from a given situation, and your creativity allows you to fill in the gaps.

# (Gaps as in the emptiness I feel when I have no solution to my lab creatures' habit of stepping all over my equipment. Creativity as in methods to keep them off.)

Your awareness of how things function gives you the ability to come up with new uses for common objects.

# (Did you know that large computers can function as leg-damagers? I just figured that one out last night!)

It is more interesting for you to pursue excitement than it is to get caught up in a routine.

# (I do need routines to keep myself on track, but if I stick to them all the time I find boringness and meaninglessness.)

Although understanding details is not difficult for you, you specialize in seeing the bigger picture and don't get caught up in specifics.

# (I do when my ADD doesn't have control of me.)

You tend to more proactive than reactive—you don't just wait for things to come to you.

# (I'm learned a lot for sure, after being raised reactive!)

You are balanced in your approach to problem-solving, not letting your emotions hold you up.

# (I hate it when I'm wrong, but later on I feel so much better!)

You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.

# (I only have minimal concerns about style - that people don't think I'm completely insane.)

Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.

# (I have found this to be true - sure, I'm overwhelmed by incoming responsibilities, but when I put forth an effort, I can swim through it quite nicely.)

` So that's what happens when I fill out a - both vague and accurate - personality test. It's called 'PersonalDNA'. That's a strange name, but not one I would forget easily.
` Anyway, my lame excuse for this semi-silliness is because I did have a post ready to be typed up, but then I came face to face with someone citing evidence against deep geological time, and I sort of got stuck for a couple weeks or so because I was trying to figure out where it came from.
` I finally think I will pass on it, since I cannot figure it out. Back to what I was going for beforehand, it's a series of posts for my Corrigendopedia, about this guy... well, you'll see.

They seem to have given you much more information than they gave me. Or, perhaps I was in too much of a rush after completing the thing to avail myself of it.

It was fun to take, but without more documentation on how the test is constructed, I put no faith in it.

These things maybe dumb, but we still do them!!

Yeah, really! It says you're very trusting! Maybe that's why?

Wow S E E, do you ever post short entries? *giggles*

` Occasionally.

` And Galtron, it means I tend to be trusting to people's personalities (at least most people seem to be nice), but not intellectual things.

` Indeed, I don't think there's much point in trusting these tests, but why not? It at least doesn't seem to be inaccurate, whatever that may be worth.
` After all, it was on Nick's blog and though I barely ever do them, I decided to be spontaneous.

Ugh! I tried to do this but the little sliders aren't working properly for me. They keep saying "undefined" at both ends so I don't know what the options are for each one. I'll try it again tomorrow :-)

` Maybe they just don't like your mouse cursor....

Okie I've tried it again and it's still not working correctly. The mouse is working and it's sliding the slider across without any problems but it's just not saying what the options are at either end of each one.
This is going to turn into a serial attempt lol.

` Weird! Well, who cares? After all, it's dumb, right? I bet you'll forget all about it when I get my new post up tomorrow!

[citing evidence against deep geological time], huh, argue it. I hardly think that with all of the evidence supporting deep geological time, that you could lose. After all, the half-life of radioactive isotopes is pretty constant, and I don't remember seeing a whole lot of glowing landscape at night.

I got this thing to work at last and I've posted the results on my blog :-)
